Inventions
Walt Disney has invented or co-invented two machines, The multiplane camera, and Audio-animatronics. The multiplane camera was a camera that recorded several different layers of animations that were moving at different speeds, and would then composite the layers into one. This was popular for creating different background and foreground shots and would also create more depth and dimension in films.
The other invention, the audio-animatronics was actually co-invented with Disney and his Imagineering team. Audio-animatronics is a life like robot that can move and make sounds as if it were actually living. This is different than other robotics because it uses prerecorded sound, and has the ability to have cameras and sensors. These give the robot the ability to see and sense their surroundings, and they are capable of responding to them either verbally or with actions.
